Flowers kids, Pretty Patterns
As much as I love Czech Republic I miss Spanish spring, and this May tastes a bit like a March (don´t get me wrong, March is cool but I am
impatiently waiting to feel the sun more than 2 days in a row).
Anyway, finally I have some time to show you my latest serie of floral patterns. I started doing it in Spain and I finished it in Czech Republic few weeks ago. I maganed to print a sample for Prague Design Week but I didn´t have time till now to add the logo and upload it. If you like this one, you will love to see the rest of them here.
Have a great Friday!
Lola is special and all the magic she has she transmits it to her “rescues”. As a good artist, she has a good eye to see beauty where others just see old junk and relics with no future.
We met few months ago and we got on well together soon. Well, actually I met first her furniture, one day that I was looking for a present for my niece. I saw this little table with a note hanging on it where she talked about the life the piece had before being in the store. I loved it. One month later I met her at Espacio Convento. We were talking about furniture and I remember to tell her about this awesome little table I saw and how she answered it was hers! After that we have shared talks about work and life, advices and laughs and now I am renovating her logo.
Martin and I were thinking and making the designs for the logo and at the end this is the choosen one :). You can enjoy Lola´s rescues here! And soon in her web! I promise to keep you updated!
Sometimes I imagine my ideal house. Where it
would will be and how the interior and exterior of it will look like.
After one week participating at Prague Design Week and surrounded by beautiful designs I thought it could be interesting to share with you my top 10. The 10 things I would definitely put in my dream house. So I went around, I took lots of pictures and I selected them. Choosing was the hardest part because all the designers had great stuff but at the end I was strong and decided to stick to the plan. Just 10. And these were my “loves at first sight”. Enjoy them! Yeap, I still get those butterflies. They don´t stop flying around in my stomach, and I have started loving them. Sometimes they make me nervous sometimes thrilled (or both!) but they are always a good sign. I bet you feel them from time to time too.
Less than one week to be sharing room with Martin – and his new Bohemian Design collection- at Prague Design Week 2015. We are trying to put the finishing touches to our work so we are a little bit nervous, but excited and happy. Those kind of nerves that create a sinking feeling in your stomach and sometimes don’t let you sleep thinking how to prepare this and that so the visitors feel comfy and connect with your work. Also the kind of nerves before going on a great trip. Some of you might think I am exaggerating (well… I’m Spanish!) but the truth is that when it comes to showing my work I get the same feelings again and again…
I believe when we work with our heart the final result says a lot about us.
BTW. If you want to know more about Prague design week, you can find much more info in their website. Enjoy it!
Wish us good luck prosím (please)! :)
